Problem:

Handicap International is an independent aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. The South-East Asian branch in Phnom Penh was in need of a communication toolkit to bring attention to the issue of handicapped exclusion in schools.

Solution:

Together with a local team of writers a script was developed to demonstrate what it means for a student to be excluded because he has a vision impairment. The animation setting and storyboard was carefully researched at a local school in a rural village outside of Phnom Penh. The final animation, including different subtitled versions, were successfully distributed on DVD to the Handicap International field workers educational program.
